Worship and Classes

Sunday Worship

Our Sunday Worship services begin at 10am and go for approximately an hour and a half. We follow the patterns for Morning Prayer and Holy Eucharist as set forth in the 2019 Anglican Book of Common Prayer. Our services blend ancient and modern hymns, Bible readings, and expository preaching from our Rector, Fr. David.

Evening Prayer

Every Thursday evening at 6pm we celebrate Evening Prayer in the Chapel, starting on page 41 of the 2019 BCP. This service is co-led by Jeremiah Thornton and Raynette Yoshida. Most of our viewers for this service are online; the services are uploaded every Friday at 1pm on our YouTube page. Click here to see the playlist.

We upload almost all of our services to our YouTube page!

Choir

Every Thursday evening at 7:15pm from September-June our choir rehearses for our Sunday services. Rehearsals begin with learning the harmony parts of hymns and songs plus the appointed psalm set to chant tones; then preparing the offertory anthem for the following Sunday. The choir’s repertory of anthems stretches from the English Reformation to the 21st century. We encourage everyone in our church to lift up their voices in song with us; if you are interested in joining our choir, please contact our Music Director. There is no requirement that you read music or know a lot about singing, only that you are eager to learn and eager to praise God! We welcome members high school age and up.

Small Group Study

We have a variety of small groups that meet throughout the week for Bible Study, book studies, or prayer breakfasts. A list of these groups are available if you ask an usher on Sunday morning, though we can also get you in contact with a group if you go through our Contact Us page.

Fellowship Events

Throughout the year we hold many events to join our congregation together in fellowship. We have picnics, hikes, dinners, and brunches to celebrate various holidays and important days to us. These opportunities for food, games, and discussion are great opportunities to bring our church together. You can see our other ministry opportunities here.
